Faust, Vampires and Heinrich Heine


The latest post in my weekly column on German vampire literature is now live at WWAC. This time I’m looking at the work of Heinrich Heine, the man who gave us both a gender-swapped Mephistopheles and a vampire Helen of Troy. Special thanks to Cora Buhlert, who introduced me to Heine.
