Congratulations to the 2022 Hugo Finalists!

So, the finalists have been announced. A few thoughts…

  • As usual, I’m too behind to have read any of the fiction finalists, but I’m looking forward to getting stuck into them for my annual WWAC reviews.
  • Two of my picks for Best Related Work — Camestros Felapton’s book-length blog series about the Sad Puppy affair and Emily St. James’ article on Isabel Fall — each made the cut.
  • I am genuinely grieved that neither Psycho Goreman nor Beanus made it into the Dramatic Presentation categories.

  1. Agree on Psycho Goreman. Also aggrieved that Matrix Resurrection didn’t make the cut. Also the absence of A Heart Divided and Hummingbird / Salamander from the novel noms is a travesty.
